X crash help

Can someone please help me with fixing the extruder being loose or the belt. I'm not sure. Anyone?

Actually it looks like I answered my own question with the follow up post, however all I did was add the video showing the x crash at the time its happening.

Can someone please help?

RE: X crash help

I'm going to follow this thread. I seem to have a similar problem, and not for the first time or on the same machine. Both MK3S machines but the same violent nozzle crashing. I suspect X belt issues but I have been unable to dial it in reliably. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does what yours is doing, though thankfully much earlier in the job. I would really like some kind of precise measurement for how to tension the belt. There is a "tool" available on Printables.com but it requires PETG which I don't have and Prusa doesn't either or I would order some with the credit I have. Sure there is some reliable way to adjust this belt or know when it is out of spec that isn't guesswork. Something like compressing the two parts of the belt to where they touch at some defined distance from the idler and motor and extruder, with the extruder at each end of travel and in the middle. How far away/how many teeth before they touch?
