X axis selftest fail
I know there's a lot of posts about this topic, but I couldn't find one similar to my issue...
I had a print fail, gently, no big mess or anything, just base layer curled on the north side of the printer. It was PET-G, so changed bed temp, and reran it. X axis drove itself hard right and made awful noise. Now, the print head moves along the X axis to the right smoothly, but not as smooth to the left.
Self test now fails in 2 ways. Most of the time it fails as soon as it tries to drive to the left. But occasionally it fails on driving to the right, instantly.
Is this likely a bearings problem? And if so, what could have caused it to crash, initially? Because I'm worried that fixing the bearings it will crash again...
Thank you!
