with the release of the mk4 will mk3s+ still recive firware updates
hello everyone i am sorry if this question has been asked and already answered but i am asking i received my printed last dec. and i love it since then i have gotten a few firmware updates i am wondering and worried that now the mk4 is out prusa will stop making firmware updates and just stay where we are at in hopes of users will buy the mk4 kit to contuse seeing improvements while i do like what i have been seeing from the mk4 i am unable to afford one which i am wondering am i stuck at where i am at? thank you for your time and help

my mk2 received printing related updates after the mk3 was released, so it is likely the mk3 will receive updates for printing issues if required, however it is unlikely that the mk3 will get further new features.

I hope you're all doing well. I have a question that may have already been addressed, and if so, I apologize for the redundancy. Last December, I received my 3D printer, and I've been loving it ever since. Over time, I've received a few firmware updates, but now that the MK4 model is available, I'm concerned that Prusa might discontinue firmware updates for the previous models, hoping that users will upgrade to the MK4 to continue experiencing improvements. While I'm impressed with what I've seen from the MK4, unfortunately, I can't afford to purchase one. This has left me wondering if I'll be stuck with the current firmware and unable to benefit from future updates. I appreciate any insights or help you can provide on this matter.

If you look at https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware you will see that the MK3 firmware is still in active development. With the release of the MMU3 stating it is compatible with the MK3S+ it is likely to remain active for some time.
