Why is the safety timer blocking?

My printer is in the garage and I usually print using Octoprint from my upstairs office. Several times I've had prints not start because I changed filament and then got distracted by something before starting a print. So the printer has shut down due to the safety timer. This is fine, but why does that require user interation *at the printer*?

I'd much rather that the printer heat up and start the print job, but instead, it's blocked, and Octoprint just sits in "starting" until I go press the button on the printer, or I guess that's the issue and disconnect/reconnect.

I'm not looking to disable the safety timer, that makes sense to me, but I'd like to disable the blocking front panel alert. Is there a way to do this?

Octoprint sends gcode commands as there is no known gcode in Octoprint it carnt override it I'm pretty sure it's not possible without custom firmware

I'm pretty sure D0 works. 🙂

The problem is that the terminal just shows "paused for user" and doesn't actually give me the error on the display. So unless I can deduce from the temperature graph what's happened, it's hard to be confident in just resetting the printer and carrying on.
