What is Hotend Fan Error?
Hello, while my i3MK3S+ is printing, I see the above error message shown on the LCD screen. What is wrong?

This is the side facing fan. The fan may be clogged by print debris, has a poor connection, or a broken wire. Here's some test and replacement information.

Thanks. The side fan is spinning. I don't see anything affecting its movement. The fan at the front is not spinning.

Strange thing is my LCD shows "Hotend" Fan Error rather than "EXTR." Fan Error. Haven't seen such term. Is it new?

If it is actually spinning then the error arises from it not spinning at the correct speed...
First clean the blades - I use an artists paintbrush; then check there are no fine whisps of stringing tangled round the hub, pick those out with a fine point.
Now test it.
If the problem persists dismount the fan and peel back the label at the centre back - put ONE DROP of light machine oil (sewing machine or clock oil will do) into the centre and replace the sticker. This should extend the life of the fan but add a replacement to your regular shopping list as it's probably wearing out.
The fan at the front is not spinning.
This fan is probably in need of cleaning too - but it only spins when it is needed. It should spin briefly at power on as a start up check.
