What is causing this?
12 hrs into a 25 hr print I noticed filament was no longer coming out of the extruder. When I went to unload the filament it broke off inside teh extruder & now I have no idea how to remove the piece that broke off inside. I opened the side door where you can see the set of gears bused to feed filament but only a tiny piece was sticking up and I couldn’t budge it.
In addition when I looked at the print all the external vertical sides have this rough pattern to each layer - see pic. Any idea what caused this? Normally I get this very smooth walls which require little to no sanding using .15mm layer height. Is this bad filament (I’ve been using hatchbox forever without any issues) which eventually caused the the filament to no longer feed in the extruder and cause the above issue as well?
