What are the square holes in the R3 X Axis parts for?
I currently have an early MK3 and am about to upgrade to the MK3S.. So whilst I am at it, I am going to upgrade a few parts on of which is the R3 X-Axis Holder and Idler.
I already had the R2 parts printed ready to fit "on day", but figured I would get the latest.. And they are pretty similar.. I know the changes are just wall thickness and a better Nut capture.... But there are also square holes which are not documented..
What are these for? The only thing I can think of is that they allow you to see when the rods are pushed all the way home...
