Warped prints
Hi Everyone,
I'm pretty new to 3d printing so please bear with me if i do not know how to describe or call things out but hopefully someone can help me. I tried printing a bridging test but the end part of it does not look right. The layers are not aligned/warped.
I have had my printer for 2 months now and didnt have any problems with it but recently(last week) i tried moving my printer while printing and i held the printer under the z motors and i heard a weird grinding like noise and I thought that may have contributed to this problem. I want to know if my problem could be caused by the previously mentioned situation or if it is just a print setting issue.
RE: Warped prints
Run your XYZ calibration again and first layer Z. There is a good chance you just displaced the axes a little.
Cheerio,

@diem
Thanks for the suggestion however it did not work and the issue seems to getting progressively worse. I have tried multiple times now and now i am just getting a birds nest on the first few layers
RE: Warped prints
I reached out to Prusa because I thought something was wrong with the printer as it got progressively worse. Steve from Prusa suggested I wash the bed twice with dish soap and hot water then finish it with IPA. He also helped fix my first layer height as i made the nozzle closer and closer when troubleshooting which made it worse.
My take away from this is that constant IPA is not enough. The print now looks great
RE: Warped prints
Please show us a picture of the first layer on the bed - and the underside of a print.
Cheerio,
