Volcano Upgrade Walkthrough?

Hello, has anyone found a comprehensive list of what you need to do when you install a volcano hotend on the MK3?

There are options to print new hotend parts, and those have been posted.  However my hotend is broken so I need to take the path that looks like, IIRC:

1) learn how to recompile firmware.  I think there are instructions on compiling on the github, and this video seems to show what needs to change: (27) How to Compile Prusa Firmware (3.7.1) and Make Changes - YouTube

2) install the hotend

3) someone mentioned tweaking the PINDA.

It would be cool to see all of this information put together, does such a resource exist?

Before going too far down the path of modifying your hardware and firmware, I'd suggest checking out the 3D Solex nozzles. There have been a few discussion on this topic herehere, und here.

@bobstro

So yeah I've already bought the volcano.  This is a post-purchase question 🙂  Due to a variety of factors, I was purchasing replacement hot end parts anyway.

I was hoping that somewhere someone had documented all the steps they took.  It sounds like nobody has a link that they know and trust.  The information all seems scattered.
