Upgrading to 3.2 but had no first layer issues to begin with?

I am going to flash the latest firmware but I have not had any of the first layer issues like reported here.
Should I still do a factory reset or just flashit and forget it?
Is there a best practice when installing new firmware for what calibrations to do or anything?
Cheers,
Jon

I flashed it and then started printing a nozzle box in PETG without calibrating anything, so far so good.
The LA seems to be making a difference but I wont know till its done.
Would still like to know if there is a best practice for what to do after a reflash, if any.
Cheers,
Jon

It came out pretty good. The top layer is a bit rough, hard to makeout the numbers but that could be due to the stl I downloaded.
The edges look great to me, though I am a complete noob.
InkSmith PETG with Prusa control using settings: Prusa Pet, .2mm quality, 20% infil

What do you think?

Jon

Where did you find firmwafre 3.2? I can see only 3.1.3 on the support site for the mk3.

Everyone reading this thread should be reminded that RC are just that (Release Candidate)- they are NOT guaranteed to be without issues (and there could be some serious issues.) Use at your own risk... Granted there are plenty of us "testing" with it, but new users should avoid this unless they are totally comfortable with what they are doing.
