Upgrading Extruder, should I replace the PTFE tube
I printed the new extruder parts months ago but never got around to fitting them.. A collegue just did it and said it was a good upgrade, so I figured I might as well do it.
Looking at the guide, it recommends replacing the PTFE tube.. So I bought a length from eBay and am looking to cut them to the right length, and bevel each end as shown..
Are there any issues getting the old PTFE tube out of the hot-end? I am just worrying that I am making extra work for myself.. Also, how critical is its length? Can it be a few 1/10mms out? Would you change it, or leave the original in?
