Uneven Bed Issues

Hey Prusa Community,

I was wondering how I could possibly correct this unevenness in my bed. I am aware that mesh bed leveling does compensate for most of it and I shouldn't have to worry too much. However, the Bed Level Correction article is of no use as the measurements given in Bed Visualizer are greater than 100 which is outside of the printers limits for Bed Level Correction. I was wondering if there was a software or hardware fix for this as it does bother me a bit and could be resulting in some issues with bed adhesion.

One thing I noticed with the measurements I got was they are all positive whereas others are more evenly spread between positive and negative like in this thread by Captain Otter.

Anyways, I hope I can get some help or suggestions, thanks!

RE: Uneven Bed Issues

A couple of weeks ago I have put springs under the heatbed instead of the spacers (only kept spacers in the middle of the plate.
I discovered it was very important to do a Z calibration (NOT XYZ calibration) before adjusting the plate. The Z-calibration brought the differences within 100 um and the mesh leveling did the rest
Now (with the springs) I can keep the differences within 100 um (only yellow and a bit green).
So maybe this Z-calibration step can be helpful for you.

We will do what we have always done. We will find hope in the impossible.
