Unable to print less than 0.20 mm layers

Hi

Using MK3S kit, i'm no logner able to print very fine prints, below 0.20 mm layer height. The nozzle knocks the print of the bed at some time. Not at a special layer but usually after a couple of hours off printing.
I'm using PrusaSlicer 2.0 with newest profile, i have also tried Simplify3d. All is stock exept of a hardened steel nozzle.

Best regards

If the nozzle is knocking parts loose, it's likely those parts are either warping or coming loose from the print surface. Try giving the PEI a good dunk under the kitchen sink with some Dawn dish soap. Wash it with a plain paper towel and dry it with another. Re-calibrate your Live-Z since that can come out of adjustment.

And don't leave fingerprints on the bed. They propagate and will coat the entire bed after a few heat cycles or even an alcohol wipe.

Make a big brim, attache to the model, so it has more sticking power to the bed.(2 settings)

Glue stick if needed.

Petg use infill honycomb, the standard, the nozzle will hit the model, i do not know why.

Objects with small part attache to the bed, will need a big brim and/or glue stick,

same for a big flat model, even pla(big flat model) needs glue stick and big brim.

If a model curls from bed, then nozzle will hit the model.

Of course slower speed you can try,

different filament,

temperature of filament,

more lift-z between moves.

Peter - GluStik reduces adhesion of PLA.  Again, you are posting information that 1) isn't related to the OP concerns; or 2) information that is not helpful.  Please try to understand the actual problem being addressed before posting wild and crazy suggestions.
