Unable to install software
Windows 10, 64-bit OS, x64-based processor
When I run the .exe file as Admin, it asks, "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?". I click YES.
A box pops up on the screen where I am to select the language. After a split-second, the box disappears and the .exe file stops.
Any ideas on how to get around this?

It turned out to be some antivirus software I had inadvertently installed while downloading another unrelated update last week.
Always read the fine print and uncheck the boxes on software you don't want! 🙄

What package are you trying to install? PrusaSlicer - or something else?

prusa3D_win_2_2_9.exe
RE: Unable to install software
Well the easiest thing to try is download a fresh copy from here:
https://prusa3d.com/downloads/drivers/
Also, what language is your Windows - and what locale?

I tried downloading a fresh copy...same result. I also tried downloading an older version...same result.
Windows is English - USA
RE: Unable to install software
I downloaded PRUSA214.exe.
It installed no problem.
I tried to update to the latest driver...same problem described in original post.

Lacking any similar cases to look at, I think your fastest solution will be to talk to Support.
Click on EShop above, log in, and shortly a Chat button will appear. Click it.
And maybe look at your Windows Event log.

Thank you!

If you do talk to support - let us know what they say.
If 2.2.9 has definite problems on some systems - we need to know why.

Especially be careful of Avast:

Things you get for free sometime have a hidden cost higher than you are willing to pay.
