Unable to finish thermal model calibration

Hi,

My 3D printer has a lot of problems lately (other posts). One of them is Thermal model calibration. For some reason I can never finish it.

See video (error at about 2:50):
https://forum.prusa3d.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Thermal-mode-calibration-error-short.mp4

I tried the calibration with firmware versions: 3.13.0, 3.12.3 and now 3.12.2 until it works (nothing works a to right now).
I spoke with Prusa Support about this, the only conclusion was to downgrade the firmware.
Maybe some of you might have different idea?

Thanks for the answer in advance 🙂

The printer works again after I downgraded the firmware to version 3.11.0, in al newer versions it would always fail.

RE: Unable to finish thermal model calibration

I just updated to 3.13 for my MK3S+ printer and also ran into Thermal Anomaly issues. It didn't seem to calibrate correctly and would fail after a little bit, sometimes right away. I'm running completely stock parts as well.

I've tried gathering a crash dump from Octoprint, by executing the `D21` command code, but it doesn't look like anything got recorded, so no clue if I'm doing something wrong here.

Adding a pastebin link to the serial.log in case it's helpful to anyone. https://pastebin.com/v7W7KU5E

I did what MrJW did and downgraded to 3.11.0 and it starts up without error.

Sorry - I wrote this post from memory, there is no 3.12.3 firmware. I meant 3.12.2.

I just upgraded to 3.13.0 as well and my mk3s can't pass the thermal calibration step.  It fails within about 1-2 minutes and then does a loud beep and says print failed.
