Unable to clear bad partial clog after printing nylon

I've been happily printing some nylon parts on my i3 mk3s until I had a bad clog, which I didn't discover until a short time after it happened. It was only a small part, but the clog happened in the last 1/3rd of the print and I only discovered it when I came back to remove the completed part.

Now I've had a few clogs in my time, but I've always managed to fix them using some combination of the acupuncture needle, cleaning filament, hot and cold pulls. However this time around, it just won't budge and I've tried all the above tricks a LOT of times - I can get filament to push through the nozzle manually, but there is a lot of resistance, and it doesn't extrude as easily as normal. If I try and use the extruder to push filament through the nozzle, nothing happens and the bondtech gears just grind up the filament.

I've disassembled the extruder and pulled out the PTFE tube to check that, but it's in perfect condition.

Is there anything else I can try? I've tried turning the temperature right up to maximum - 295C and using the cleaning filament multiple, but I'm not seeing any improvement at all. When I do hot and cold pulls, the cleaning filament comes out clean.

I'm reluctant to change the nozzle, because it's not that old and last time I tried to change the nozzle, I managed to bend the heatbreak (despite carefully following all instructions) and ended up ordering a complete new hotend, as the quickest way of getting back up and running again.

Change the nozzle, learn and grow.

Good Luck
