Third Print - ruined the teflon tube

I bought the mk3 assembled so I wouldn't have to go in and open up the machine. However, about 90% done of the 3rd printing, the printer suddenly went to the corner and requested the filament to be unloaded even though there was plenty left. I did so, and then loaded the same piece back in after cutting an angle. Unfortunately after it went back to work, it would not extrude any material but kept acting like it was working correctly.

I used the needle but the nozzle was not clogged. Then when I tried to re-load the filament, the machine clicked at the pulley and sometimes would grab the filament and sometimes it wouldn't. Each time, it would push the filament out the side "window".

I finally discovered there's a little door to open access to the pulley. To my dismay I saw plastic up against the pulley. I could barely see inside the little window, and I mistook the teflon tube to be what I thought was a clog of the filament.

I tried pulling it out, and you can see from the below picture I 100% ruined it because the tube no longer has a nice open end. I will have to replace it since there's no way I can jam something down vertically to re-open the now-collapsed tube.

Completely an idiot....I have zero confidence in being able to disassemble an entire extruder and put it together again with my lack of knowledge and skills.
