The extruded filament is curling up and sticks to the nozzle when purged.
The other day while manually switching out filaments mid-print I noticed that the filament that I had just loaded was coming out towards the side, curling up and forming a huge blob that was sticking to the nozzle and hot end. I tried purging the nozzle with cleaning filament but that also kept curling badly. I spoke to customer support and they suggested cold pulling. I tried cold pulling a few times and the nozzle imprint left of the end of the cold pulled filament was missing a gap (see photo). The filament continues curling up when ever I load filament or I let the filament purge. Does anyone have any suggestions of how I can fix this?

How old is the nozzle? Have you tried a new one?

I think @fuchsr has it. This is often a symptom of a worn or damaged nozzle.
Cheerio,

Replacing the nozzle fixed it 👍
