SuperPINSA MK3S+ Update Mesh Bed Leveling 66% slower
I just upgraded my two MK3S to MK3S+. I used this to clean everything after 4.7km / 2.5km printing of my two printers. Both are equipped with the new SuperPINDA now.
On the older printer (MK3 from 11/2017) I realized that mesh bed leveling now takes 85 seconds vs. 51 seconds on the other one (MK3S from 01/2020). The reason is that the printhead now moves considerable slower up and down. Tried a few things (changing the distance of the PINDA to the prindbed, reflashed the latest FW (3.10.0) to no avail.
This is not what I expected. I asked PRUSA support and they said that this is OK and not a fault. It's better now but SuperPINDA is just slower on some machines. But there was no explanation (although I asked for it) why this is. It might not be a big deal. Just 34 seconds longer. Being not the most patient person in the world it is annoying. Plus: I feel that this is a downgrade to the overall performance of my printer.
The KB states that even with the SuperPINDA it should take less than a minute: https://help.prusa3d.com/en/article/mesh-bed-leveling_112163
Does anyone else experience this? What are your thoughts? Any explanations (that would be most interesting, cannot figure it out). I had a few mails going back and forth with PRUSA but they insist that this is OK. I am willing to go back to the old version. But in this case the Upgrade Kit was a wast of money...
Thanks, Alexander

Thank you. Did not see this as I was fixated at "slower" rather than "faster". I suggest that this thread is ignored and the other one is used. Sorry for the double post. Was looking for the wrong keywords.
Solution (finally)
After literally fighting with PRUSA support to get a replacement (10 emails going back and forth) they eventually gave in and sent a replacement. As expected the new SuperPINDA works as ecpected.
