STL for the new MK3 Spool Holder?
Hi!
I just bought an MK3 and am trying to use a big 3kg spool, the original spool holder model:

in which you can snap the arms into place works great but are too small for this spool.
I saw that the previous spool holder was available
but where can I aqquire the model of the NEW VERSION?
I cannot find it anywhere!

Edit: I want the newer model so that I can modify it slightly to fit the larger spool!

its an injection molded part so no STL that I have seen and if it took the big spools a pair of them would be a lot of weight hanging off the back of the printer... you could do a mirror print of the older single design and use the resulting two to hold one big spool between them but I would not want to hang that weight on the top of my printer
for spools that size I would go for one of the roller systems that put the spools either next to or on a shelf above the printer.

I can't seem to assemble the MK3S new spool holder. When I put one end in, the other won't go in. The same with the other side. Is there some trick to this?

One arm needs to be installed and fully latched into place before the other side will fit. It takes almost 1/4 of a turn to fully lock the arm. If it is not fully locked the second arm won't fit.

if it is like mk3 dual they screw into each other via the middle... some small one lb spools you have to unscrew one side to slide it on from the inside screw end
