Stepper Motor Crimp Tool & Sockets (pins)
Searching for the correct sockets (female pins) & crimp tool that are used for the end of the stepper motor cables on a MK3. The part number for the plastic connector housing might be good to know too. I did search around a bit, but haven't yet found a clear answer. I found some reference to the Molex C-grid family in another post, but it was vague and unclear what to use.
Because I had the original Multi-Material setup and am now upgrading it to the MMU2S, some of the re-purposed stepper motor cables are far too long and I would like to shorten them to clean up the wiring a bit.
Thanks!
RE: Stepper Motor Crimp Tool & Sockets (pins)
Search for Berg Pins and Sockets; sometimes referred to as square pins or 2.54 connectors. Just about any good crimp tool can work, one pass for the wire crimp (M style is best), one pass for the strain relief crimp (O style).

It's a Molex SL series connector. It is very similar (and compatible) to the so-called "Dupont" connectors, with the addition of keying and a retention latch. A standard connector pin crimping tool for the appropriate wire gauge will work with them. Look for a Dupont Crimp Tool.
