steel heatbed deformed - outline of print

Just got my MK3S and after my 2nd print the steel heatbed has a deformation where the print was located. It's right where the first layers went down around the outside edges of the retangular print.....Anyone else experience this? I printed PLA at 215, bed was at 60...
If you run your fingertips over the discolored area you can feel it is very slightly raised up....bummer....

This isn't uncommon. Flip your sheet and use the other side for the next print, and the bubbles should go away and smooth out with the heat from the bed.

Oh ok thanks for the suggestion, I’ll try that. I had that thought but wasn’t sure if it would make things worse. I’ll reply back with the results in a couple days. Thanks again.

Yep, normal. See the KB article on it. 😀

My new sheets have done this. The clear type PEI sheets dont do it.

This happens all the time to me and it always goes away. Except for that one time i printed PETG on windex prepared sheet and it ripped my sheet apart.

Yeah so that does seem to be the case. This happens with almost every print, some are worse than others. But flipping the sheet seems to alleviate the issue. Glad it's that simple; thought I had a dud there for a minute. Thanks all for the advice.
