Steel Ball

I lost the steel ball listed on page 4 of 53 of the E-axis assembly.  Does anyone know the diameter of the ball?  I would like to procure a replacement in America

RE: Steel Ball

There should be another one in your spares bag. Look there first...

Another poster mentioned the steel ball "rattling" and audible at a distance.

Hard to believe, since if the magnets are installed correctly the ball is under constant tension, and can't move much less rattle.

Since I lost mine as well and couldn't locate my spares bag until now; the steel ball is 7 mm in diameter for those who suffered a similar fate.

@yorick

Definely a 7mm stainless steel bearing.  They are often sold for sling shots.
