Statistics
I finally got around to looking at the statistics info on my MK3S. It was not anywhere close to being correct. My guestimate is I'd printed 30-50 hours when I first looked. It told me I'd printed 7+ hours. I just finished a 1:45 print. It still reads 7+ hours?
When are the statistics updated?
Are they ever reset?

I have the same belief. Vastly difference numbers on my Octoprint.

Sounds like it might only log SD print time and not USB print times?

I bet that's it. 7 and a half hours worth of printing sounds about what it took to print a couple of test prints plus the housing to hold my RPI. I haven't used the SD card since I got OctoPrint installed.

There is no 'bet' or 'sounds like it' - its a fact. I've printed almost exclusively via octoprint, and the stats haven't changed.

Does Octoprint give status on how much has been printed?

I believe there is a plugin to capture printing statistics. I've not used it.

My print stats give me MANY more hours than I have owned the printer. I bought a kit in January, and it lists an extra month like it has been in use for a month prior to purchase. BUT when i set it up in January, it listed as 1-2 hours.
I dont know how it keeps time... But something is off.

Hey guys. I am printing via Octopi connected to my Mk3 vis USB and my stats are all 0. No print time, no filament used. Nothing. A friend of me got his Mk3 setup the same as mine (because I installed Octoprint) and his is collecting data in the stats. Print time more than 40 days. 1600m filament used. I dont know if these data are correct but it is collecting data.
