Some type of thermal error causing screeching
I usually leave my printer at school since I have a desk there and this morning a fellow student came in only to find my printer stopped and screaming for some reason. He didn't get the lcd in the video but he told me that there was some type of thermal error message. Does anyone have any idea what this it?
Re: Some type of thermal error causing screeching
hi Keitaro
difficult to say, but the extruder position suggests out of filament error... assuming you didn't program a colour change at that level!
if you don't respond to a colour change / filament out notification quickly enough the printer should continue bleeping intermittently, and turn he extruder off awaiting your attention. but it doesn't usually sound the beeper continuously
Is your filament sensor on?
it might be a good idea to turn it off, if it was on.
what firmware are you on?

Re: Some type of thermal error causing screeching
Yes, I wans't trying to change the color of the print at that point lol.
The filament sensor was on and I was running the 3.2.1 firmware. took apart my extuder and found that when I first built it a washer fell out and cause the extruder bearing to not fit snuggly. Not sure if this is related...
I also tried to reset the board using the button found on the rambo but got a message telling me that the board changed from 1.3a to 1.0.....so there's that too.... Although this seems to be a documented issues with a github issue already made.
