Some printers print with difficult to remove support

We have a dozen or so MK3 printers and we have been printing some production parts for a customer.  Some of the printers print really nicely.  Supports peel away easily and hardly leave a mark.

Others are much more difficult to remove and leave a white mark from where the layers met.

All of the machines are using the same Gcode, copied onto the SD cards from the same source.

I'm wondering what to look for?  I'm guessing nozzle temp might be a factor.  Is there a preferred way to calibrate the temperature?  Are there any settings on the printer itself that I can compare?  There has to be a reason these couple printers are printing supports that stick much more than the others printers.

You can perform a pid calibration per printer to get an updated pid setting.

Also if the belt tension is off then the positioning might be slightly off too which could also result in the support slightly touching the part making it harder to remove.

My colleague printed some parts with a lowered temp down about 10-15 degrees.  He said that seemed to make it worse.  I wouldn't have expected that.  I'm dubious that it made a real difference.  But what do I know.  I wasn't there to observe.
