Slic3r PE Profile Equivalent to Prusa Control Profile

I have been using both Prusa Control and Slic3r PE and usually when I print the same object using the same default settings on both applications, my final print looks better when using the gcode generated on Prusa Control. I am willing to use Slic3r PE only going forward, but given what I just mentioned, I would love to know the detailed profile settings on Prusa Control (things like extruder speed, retraction, layer height, etc.) so I can customize a profile in Slic3r PE, using Prusa Control settings. Does that make sense? 😀 If so, what is the best way to accomplish that? I thought about comparing the actual gcode file from both apps, but I wonder if there is a better way? Thanks.

PrusaControl generates gcode using Slic3r under the hood (albeit an older version). If you open that gcode file in a text editor, you can see the Slic3r settings used listed as comments at the end of the files.

I just compared a Slic3r .ini file and PC gcode. I was able to cut the comments out of the gcode and delete the semicolon and space at the start of each line to create an .ini file (attached) that seems to import into Slic3r easily. I haven't tested this yet, but you're welcome to give it a try.

Excellent, you gave me some good pointers on how things work and how to accomplish my goal, thank you. I will give it a shot later today, thanks!
