Slic3r doesn't create a first layer when object is a 150%
Hi,
Sorry if the question was already raised but I'vent found it.
I have the following problem:
I'm printing a model I designed at standard size without any problem after I've sliced it I can see that the first layer is present at 0.20. (first picture of the attached file)
If I resize the model to be 150% and sliced it the first layer is not present at 0.20 (second picture)
It is only at the second layer 0.35 that the model begin to appear correctly. (third picture)
Problem is that when the 150% model is printing it doesn't stick to the bed.
Any idea on how to correct that ?
Thanks
Michel
Re: Slic3r doesn't create a first layer when object is a 150%
My guess is the model has a low point. That when you scale to 150 Slic3r uses the low point and determines it is 1 layer tall.
Re: Slic3r doesn't create a first layer when object is a 150%
Thanks a lot that was effectively the case. this low point had not enough influence at 100% scale to create a nearly empty layer but it was the case at 150%. Even with this clue It was difficult to identify it.
Thanks again for your assistance ! 😀
