Skipping during mesh bed leveling

My MK3s has some kind of z axis skip during mesh bed leveling. It always happens near the peg at the back left of the bed. It doesn't normally re-check the point, it just makes a clicking kind of sound and moves on.

I have a friend with the same printer and haven't seen this effect there. My printer works fine, though I don't normally try to print in the back left part of the bed.

Any ideas?

Mine does it occasionally.  It was usually the middle one on the right side after about 1.5 years of use on my MK3.  It slowly got worse and eventually I needed to replace the PINDA.  Now it is the middle position in the back, but it is rare.  My guess is that the PINDA probe eventually wear out.  The good news is that it takes a while to fail completely so you have time to order a new probe.  I think it was around $15 on Amazon, although I also ordered an official Prusa version as a backup when I was ordering other things.

Here's a short video clip with the skip/click sound. It always happens in the same location. I just put firmware 3.9 on and the behavior is unchanged.
