SD card problem
Hi,
I recently updated the firmware of my Prusa i3 MK3S+ and MMU2S to the latest version af if today (FIRMWARE 3.13.0 (3.0.0)). The problem is that when I want to print something and I insert the SD card, the printer displays a folder (See the picture). The printer reads the SD card when I insert it but the files are not visible. Also when I go in the menu when the SD card is in, the printer says that there's no SD card. I've tried plenty of other SD cards, I alos formatted the SD card, I've reset my printer to factory settings, I pulled out the cables of the LCD screen and put them back in but nothing seems to work. Could someone please help me further?
Thanks in advandce.
Kind regards.

RE: SD card problem
I've seen this before it's Normally locked sd carfax but if you've tried others then it could be the pin needd pushing down on the sd card slot

RE: SD card problem
There should be a metal square where the sd card gets inserted on that there should be a metal stick that's flush withe the other metal bend that down a bit if you upload photo I could draw on it to show you

RE: SD card problem
So if I understand it correctly, the bended metal part should toucht the litle 'rectangular' part? Even when there's no SD card inside?
RE: SD card problem
If the other sd cards you tried worked,
you can assume that this SD card is no longer usable and therefore broken.

RE: SD card problem
Hi, it didn't work.
In order to keep printing, I bought a raspberri pi, which lets me print directly from my pc. I also bought a new LCD screen. Maybe this solves the problem. I've had the raspberri pi for 2 days now and it works quit well. I was wondering if the new LCD screen was really necessary. Do Ireally need the SD card?
RE: SD card problem
I've been printing through Octoprint without an sd card for years, now.
Unless something has changed with 3.13.0 IRT the importance of the SD card...
RE: SD card problem
What's IRT? 😅
RE: SD card problem
3.13 works with Octoprint fine without sd card the sd card should never be needed in printer unless the pi sd runs out of storage
