RE: SD card problem !

It has the correct format for the printer, and other formats will not work in the printer. Why do you want to format it?

Also - some cards have write protection on them: a small switch on the side.

Oh - wait - your PC won't read it.   If the printer can read the card, I suspect your PC card reader has issues.  Early readers, like those for 1GB cards don't support higher density cards. SD-HD, or SD-XC, etc.  Maybe your reader is too old and not compatible with current SD cards.

Media type Memory card
Capacity
  • SDSC1 MiB to 2 GiB
  • SDHC2 GiB to 32 GiB
  • SDXC32 GiB to 2 TiB
  • SDUC2 TiB to 128 TiB
  • (these are families capacity limits)

Probably you are right , the problem it is the reader of my PC , i didn't realised it was already old . Anyway it works with my 1GB and it is enough for now...

Thanks for your reply...

RE: SD card problem !

I faced the same SD card problem. when I connect the SD card through USB with my windows 10 OS at that time SD card was not responding. Then I format the data and lost data from card. I lost my important data and searching data recovery service center.
