Right side of sheet not adhering
This is a new issue and one I can't seem to solve. I've moved to 7x7 mesh leveling, done XYZ calibration, first level calibration and it seems like the front right side of my build sheet is just not adhering. This is happening on both the PEI sheet and the textured sheet using good quality PLA.
I've tried setting the Z adjustment so low that the left side of the sheet is tearing/failing to extrude and then I can get the right side to adhere well enough but that's obviously not a solution.
What else can I do besides calibration and Z adjusting?
RE: Right side of sheet not adhering
Should have added it's a MK3S that I've had for six months and it's been ultra reliable. I've left it running 40+ hour prints unattended routinely.
RE: Right side of sheet not adhering
run the Z calibration and make sure the x axis runs all the way to the top of the leadscrews
RE: Right side of sheet not adhering
Yeah I've done the full calibration and the Z specifically but I'll double check it again tonight.
RE: Right side of sheet not adhering
are you sure the Z smooth rods are fully seated on both sides?
RE: Right side of sheet not adhering
There is a peep hole on the rod brackets. Make sure they bottom out.
RE: Right side of sheet not adhering
Peepholes, hmmm.... I'll take a close look, just got home.
Thanks for the advice!
RE: Right side of sheet not adhering
Okay so the smooth rods seem to have a little vertical play, I can pop them up and down a bit, but I don't have any play in the threaded rod.
I'm not sure where the peepholes are, but I tried reseating both the smooth rods firmly, and did the Z calibration again. I'll see if things improve.

if the vertical rods can move up and down then the end supports are not in the correct locations . loosen the upper end supports and push then down till they are seated on the rods and then reinstall the mounting screws. the location of the upper ends sets the top travel limit for the Z travel and if not level the the bed will make the X axis slope to one side

Okay that makes sense. I'll pull that apart tonight.
My second MK3 is on the way so I'll have to watch that carefully during assembly.
RE: Right side of sheet not adhering
OP, did you have any luck with this? I'm having similar issues in my back/left of mine and want to see if this did the trick.
RE: Right side of sheet not adhering
Seems to be a bit better, I pulled off the upper supports for the rods, reseated everything and then tightened it all down again. I also moved the printer from the basement (15 celsius) to the kitchen for a bit and so far having a little more success. Still only with the smooth sheet, the PC sheet is just useless for PLA :/
