Resuming printing always fail
Hello community,
I have experimented 2 printing issues at 5hours of work and always lead to stop printing...It is very annoying...
First time, with flexfil, the filament bent in the extruder so I paused the print and I had to open it and retrieved manually the filament. When I resumed the print, the printer was continuing the job but with a Z axis setting tremendously high... I didn't remember if I had to lift up the extruder to perform the filament change but anyway I assumed that the software know exactly where he left the job on the G-code and could have set the proper Z setting...
Second time is today and after 5 hours of printing I found the i3 bipping and it was running out of filament. My spool is almost new and it is the one coming with the printer. I don't know what happened but the filament was cut. I have noticed that the filament was stuck into the spool and it cost me some effort to found the tip of the filament in the spool. This is very weird, my spool support is exactly mounted as mentioned in the manual. I guess the filament have been blocked with itself in the spool and being cut during the printing process. Bad manufacturing of spool ?
The LCD was illuminated but empty, I pressed the knob button and see the message asking me to change the filament. I changed it and when I resumed printing the extruder went to the position I supposed he had left the job (perfect Z position this time) but he didn't move in any direction and the remaining time was decreasing at a huge speed. I understood that a bug was occuring. I had the message "mintemp error" so I pause the print preheated the bed which was quite cool, and resumed the print. But the remaining kept decreasing the same and the extruder did'nt move too. When the timer stopped he displayed the message printing finish, duration time 5h whereas the real printing was supposed to last 7H., letting me with my pieces half finished.
Has anyone experimented such issues ?
I updated the firmware two weeks ago.

Hey Yannick!
The latest firmware update has since fixed this issue as of today (Feb 6) I had the same issue and now works perfect 😀
