Repairing the lead wire connection on the print fan

Does anyone happen to know which lead wire goes to which pad on the pcb inside the print fan? I need to repair this while I wait on a replacement. Thank you!

I would recommend you keep at least on spare.   This will happen again.

Print the service shelf - it will save your fans

In the print library is a oh so useful service shelf that hangs on the X horizontal rods.  It is used to service the extruder body and designed to hold the fans without breaking their little wires.

That's it!  I have two of them.  They save your fans.

RE:

Eventually, you arw going to damage the fan fires to the point where it cannot be repaired.  I have been doing this for almost 4 years.  Sometimes, it is time to swap it out.

RE: Repairing the lead wire connection on the print fan

Does anyone know the polarity of the wires on the original fan? I need to replace mine and have an extra Fysetc DC5V radial fan.

I'm assuming that:

Red = Positive

Black = Negative

Yellow = Speed

Can anyone confirm this?
