Recovery from thermal runaway: Can I recover a print?

Couple of times recently had a "thermal runaway", Im working on sorting it out, but wondering, why cant we recover the print?

lost a couple of long prints but why?

We can if we have a power outage, or a crash, or if the filament runs out,

So, am I missing a trick, or is this on a Prusa "to-do" list?

Yes, it'd be nice to see a possibility of recovery for any event where the firmware decides to stop the print. (Even for the "Stop print" menu entry.) It wouldn't be particularly hard to implement. I don't think it's in the list of requested features yet, even. So I don't think Prusa have it on their radar.

What I normally do is I measure the print height, sand the top layer to a smooth one, print the remaining portion of the part and glue them together. But it'd be really nice if it could just could continue where it left off.
