Raspberry Pi power from MK3S PSU
Currently, I run my Octoprint server on a Pi 3B that's powered through a USB wall adapter. This means that my whole printing setup uses 2 outlet plugs (one for the MK3S, one for the Pi) but I'd prefer to use just one in the end.
Does anyone know how much power the printer uses when printing? I want to know if it's safe to power the Pi through the 240W PSU on the MK3S, or if that extra ~15W will be too much for it (I'll be using some decent-efficiency step-down converter to get the voltage to 5V).

A pi 3b would use about 0.2 amps of the built in 24 volt power supply. I don't see why it wouldn't work. You can get a step-down and give it a go.
