PrusaSlicer and changing nozzle from .4 to .6
Hello!
I am trying a .6 nozzle for the first time and I have selected .6 nozzle diameter in the extruder settings. Will PrusaSlicer automatically adjust the other settings to compensate for the larger nozzle?
Is there anything I need to look out for or change in the settings when going from .4 to .6 (other than nozzle diameter and re-calibration)?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Rich

No it wont. You need to go through the installation wizard again and also select the 0.6mm nozzle profile for your printer. Then you need to slice using the correct printer profile.
Be aware that the actual print profiles for a 0.6mm nozzle will also have different settings too. Things like extrusion width etc will naturally but many other settings could also be different.
Of course you can manually alter the extruder and print settings yourself and save new variants but seeing as Prusa have gone to the effort of creating them for you I would use theirs as a starting point.
