Prusa mk3s+ not working right anymore after massive blob
Hi All,
The first time i left my prusa unattended and trusted that the first layer would be good i got a massive blob. Everything around the extruder encased in plastic. Took me a long time to get it all out. Had the mintemp error, found that the thermistor cable was broken and fixed it. Measured resistance and all was good. The printer has been working fine for a few months now, with every now and then a mintemp fixed notification. Its never below 16 degrees in my office. Started a large print yesterday and today came back with a thermal runaway error around 10 hours into the print. I read it refers to the heating bed temp, but since that is completely unrelated to the blob incident i assume it also has something to do with the extruder? Rebooted the system and the thermal runaway error was gone. Now i've got the mintemp error again. Measuring resistance gives me 4K instead of 100K. Faulty thermistor? The mintemp error after that measurement is randomly gone, but i dont trust it anymore. Theres also some ugly lines in my print, anyway to fix that? Since the blob its just not consistent anymore.
