RE: Prusa MK3 is clicking and then under extruding

So after posting my previous reply I tried a new print, and guess what: it worked again. Of course the print after that it went completely wrong again. I stayed with the printer the first few minutes and things were looking good. I came back an hour later and the printer was printing in thin air (well nothing came out of the nozzle of course). I stopped the print and immediately did an unload as suggested.

You can can see the gear marks all the way from the tip that got stuck in the nozzle, to the part where the filament was pinched between the gears.

I then preheated to PLA and tried a reload and the filament came oozing out of the nozzle without any problems.

I was printing Prusa grey PLA, 40% infill at 230°C in quality 0.20mm mk3

I'm having something very similar with my MK3S, and I have to say it is _extremely_ frustrating. Tow facts about my case:

- it happens since I upgraded my MK3 to MK3S

- it happens only with some filaments: some print perfectly fine, others not

I am having this very problem. I have replaced the hotend with a new assembled hotend. I even purchased a second printer, works perfect. I adjusted my original printer to match the second one. Its still clicking and under extruding. Both printers were purchased assembled.

Hello, I've had this issue with my Mk3s. Ive fixed it by removing the Hot end and unclogging it (there was some partly melted fillament stuck inside) and after that i've made a clean reassembly of the hot end (See linked video for help on that).

I've around 30h of print since i've made all that and not issue so far. Let's hope it can help you guys out.
