Prusa MK3 bed heating failure
I own a Prusa MK3 since 3 months. It stopped moving very often during a print.
It's written "heating" on the screen, but both nozzle's & bed's temperature are correct.
Every time it stops, it causes a ball of melted filament on the spot. The printing becomes very ugly.
The next printing was interrupted a few minutes after starting, due to "bed preheat error". And the bed temperature calibration failed too.
How to solve this issue?
RE: Prusa MK3 bed heating failure
You might want to try turning off the filament sensor to see if that is part of the problem. On MK3 printers there are several reported issues with the filament sensor stopping a print, only to be followed by some other more serious upset.
RE: Prusa MK3 bed heating failure
I didn't have time to try to deactivate the filament sensor. My print failed!
The fuse in my PSU & my entire PSU are burned! My wall plug extension is protected by a switch.
I don't understand how this could happed. My Prusa MK3 is almost new.
How may I claim warranty repair service? Prusa's contact department never get back to me!
