prusa magnet heated bed

prusa magnet heated bed

did someone have problem with heated bed and magmets...on mine some simple felt out...Cannot find solution on prusa web side, or i am bad in search. What to do?

Use Red Permatex RTV  ( or equavalent brand of Red High temp RTV) to glue the magnets to the heatbed.  It is rated for higher temperature than the heat bed heats and will keep the magnets attached to the heatbed.

You can check by seeing which side is atracted to the other magnets.    
However, it really doesn't matter since it holds the sheet wiich every way the magnet is positioned. 

I put the metal sheet on when reattaching the magnets.  The magnets attraction to the steel sheet puts pressure on the RTV so you don't have put presssure on the magnet.     Once you are done wait 24 hours before removing the steel sheet so the RTV is cured.
