Prusa i3 mk3s z axis vibrating

Hi,

i own my prusa since September and everything was just fine.

But for the last few days my printer has this strange vibrating sound while moving the bed. I also noticed that the printed parts tend to loose from the plate.

I already rethightend all screws from the bed but that did not help.

Thx for your Help!

Thank you but i already did that.

I also noticed that the vibration stops when i „push" the bed down with my other hand while moving it.

My next step would be to change the bearings, unfortunately i have to disassamble the whole printer to do so :I

I also uploaded a video of my printer to my question but it seems like it didnt work so i will upload it again with this reply 🙂

Is this a harsh judder or an almost musical buzz?

With the power off, move the axis by hand; is is smooth? Does the resistance stay the same over the whole range?

Cheerio,

The bed rumbled on my new printer. After about a week of disassembly, tightening and calabration, I found defective bearings. Their foreheads (seals) were loose and made a terrible sound. It was OK after the exchange. Try it.

Hi,

here is a video:

I will try to change the bearings and the smooth rods. I will upload my result after that.
