PRUSA i3 Mk3 Won't Connect to Octoprint - Can't find baudrate
First, I already have a workaround on this, just manually set the baudrate to 115200.
There are actually two problems. First is that I canceled a print and was unable to restart it. The PRUSA ignored the restart that I sent via Octoprint. That was the first problem, but it's manageable, since I'd barely started the print. Still, it has happened before and I'm not sure what is causing it.
Next I tried rebooting Octoprint. Afterwards, Octoprint couldn't negotiate a good baudrate with the Mk3. I tried rebooting Octoprint, restarting the Rpi, and finally powering off and back on (twice). No joy. I finally got them talking by manually specifying the baud rate.
Re: PRUSA i3 Mk3 Won't Connect to Octoprint - Can't find baudrate
If I remember it right, my octoprint on a custom machine also manual baudrate at 25000. But I did tick the "save connection setting" and "auto connect on startup".
If set to auto and unable to connect, it may be the problem with octoprint itself where it will give up prematurely instead of trying different baudrate.

Known issue https://github.com/foosel/OctoPrint/issues/2517 fixed in future OctoPrint version. MK3 uses baud rate of 115XXX (cannot remember exact numbers). Select that from drop down in OctoPrint and you’ll be good.
