Problem after updating to latest Firmware on upgraded MK3 to MK3s

Hi all,

I have update my Prusa i3 MK3 to the i3 MK3s and updated the firmware as stated when I completed this change. Everything worked after a bit of first layer tweaking and I was getting good results. I then up dated the firmware to the latest version 3.8.0. After this I noted a drastic slower performace on the 9 point calibration cycle, slow nozzle purging and the nozzole pausing at the end of the purge line, and I also noted that the extruder could no longer make smooth circles, it would jerk slowly?

I then reverted my firmware back to the previous version 3.7.2 (1.0.6) and this fixed everything like before?

My question has anyone else had this issue and does anyone know why this happened?

Nick

@tim-m30

Hi tim, i used the mk3s firmware and re-flashed  the firmware twice just to make sure it was not a bad upgrade, but everythingb stays the same, jerky circles and slow calibration

🙁

I have solved this. I found out that my usb port in my laptop was not working well.. Switched to another machine and it took the firmware update just fine.
