Prints Stringy After Thermistor, Heater Cartridge Change

Hello All,

I had a thermistor fail on me. (I assume) Had my whole print head overheat and fail. I replaced the thermistor and cartridge. I also swapped out the aluminum block with a stainless steel E3D block I had laying around.

I ran PID tuning but the problem is now I have a lot stringiness and blobs on my prints. This is the same print file, temps, with the same material so I don't think it is moisture or setting. When I have run the file before, I get may a couple strands and now blobs.

I will note that the threading on the heatsink/heat break is a lot looser than before.

I got it figured out. It was a two part problem.

1) This thermistor seems to be off by about 15 to 20 degrees than my previous one. Normally print at 240 or so and with this one seem like 220 is the right temp.

2) I brought in a large mass of redwood that is drying in my garage. It is releasing so much humidity that the it is immediately messing up the filament. Within the course of day, the moisture will affect the filament.
