Prints not centered on bed

Hi,

on my MK3S the prints are not perfectly centered which is an issue as I want to print a full size object that because of this is right on the right edge. See attached photo:

How can I resolve this issue. Is there a setting somewhere to correct the xy axis origin position?

I already rerun the XYZ calibration but this did not resolve the issue.

I tried to change the bed settings in Prusa Slicer but as I need to set the Origin to -2 slicing is still not possible with an error message "object outside the print area detected"

Thanks for any help.

Regards Matthias

One solution I found was to position the steel sheet slightly forward and to the right. But this is a little fiddly to get right.

I would much rather be able to use the stop screws at the end and correct this in calibration somehow. But on the other hand this is only necessary when I print full sized objects.

RE: Prints not centered on bed

In PrusaSlicer open your model, then go to Printer settings tab, then click on the Set (bed shape) button and modify your origin parameters. You can use negative values. Once changed, reslice your model and print a test to verify the changes. Repeat process until you get it right.

You may notice the plater picture (3d version of your print bed) may have changed to a generic one. You can restore it by finding the original files in the installation directory. You have to tell prusa slicer where the files are located, and you do that from the same area as you made offset/origin changes. It may take you a while to find the correct texture and model file but you'll get there.
