Printing terrain tiles holes on top of the prints, extruder gear clicking sometimes, sometimes not.
I was testing the variable layer height feature in the prusa slicer on the prusa mk3s. Everything was fine when I was using the variable layer height between 0.25-0.07 with the 0.15 quality setting but these holes appeared when I changed it to 0.25-0.05 It was like a dream, there were no layer lines perfect for dry brushing, just what I wanted but again there were holes. I printed 8-10 of these tiles first two I did not change anything and got different results but other than the two tried to make changes every time, the top surface either had holes or the extruder started to click and the top surface did not print. After the prints I went to settings>move axis>extruder and tried to extrude some filament once a blob of filament extruded but the other times it was extruding as usual there were no clog. Nevertheless I tried doing a cold pull twice nothing came the tip was visible and there where no gunk so I thought maybe the ptfe was the issue so I have taken apart the extruder and had a look at the ptfe tube it was looking like new. I changed some settings on the slicer too, I had disabled the z hop setting and I re enabled that I got my one and only successful print but there were hairs and spikes on the surface I tried to sand them down but I could not sand them all because the surface is not even so re-enabling the z hop was not an option. I tried setting the top solid layers to 15 and minimum shell thickness to 1.2 and the holes got lesser but I don't know that was a coincidence because I had printed two other with the same settings but had gotten different results. I tried to increase the extrusion multiplier but again extruder started to click and the top surface did not print but when I tried to extrude by settings it extruded fine. I am trying to solve since the 6th of october please help. I have posted pictures the green print is printed with 0.25-0.05 variable layer height the gray one is printed with 0.25-0.07 (I had printed the gray one one or two weeks before, I am posting its picture so you could make a comparison.)
