Printing replacement parts with eSun PLA Plus vs PETG

Hi! New to 3D printing and began the build of the I3 MK3 last night. While using the tensioning bolt for the X-axis belt, I cracked the left X-axis mount. It's holding fine I think, but I'm hoping to print a replacement part once I finish the build.

Thing is, from what I've seen online glue won't help here. So I'm planning to print the replacement part. I only have some PLA Plus from eSun and the black filament that shipped with the Prusa right now. I was wondering if this filament will be able to serve the purpose or if I should wait to print it until I get some PETG? I haven't found any comparisons online that show if PLA Plus is close enough to PETG in strength, flexibility, and durability.

Thoughts?

Pla should be fine for that part. No heat. Little stress... unless you crank on the belt adjuster...
