Printing path issues

I'm am trying to make an object to test the tensile strength of some different filaments. The objects is an ASTM dog bone shape which has a narrow section where it is supposed to break and thus find it's tensile strength. However, when I set the infill to 100% and looked around for a way to infill it properly I couldn't find anything. I want the filament to run parallel with the wall but instead on part of the solid infill section it is running at an angle of about 45 degrees in short strips along the narrow section. Any help on what I can change to make the narrow section just long strips running parallel to the wall?

If I were you, I would contact Stefan from CNCKitchen. He spend quite a number of hours at what you try to perform.

He has a youtube channel and a website.

Set your Infill "Fill pattern", to "Aligned Rectilinear" then adjust the "Fill angle" to your needs. set Top and Bottom layers to Zero. You may based on your testing description want to look at your Extrusion multiplier as well.
