Printer keeps requiring filament reload

I have a printer that is giving me some trouble. Every couple of minutes, for no apparent reason, it will move to the front right corner, start chirping and asking me to remove the filament. After it's removed, it asks me to put it back in. Once it is loaded it goes back to where it left off, but then does it again in a couple of minutes. Needless to say, it makes the printer unusable.

I have had the printer for a while, printing with ABS. I recently moved to PETG and have done one successful print before this issue started. I just updated the firmware to the latest.

Any thoughts?

either turn off the filament sensor or with a can of pressurized 'air' blow out the bond tech gears from both sided of the extruder and trout the access in the idler hinge when you remove its light blocker and every time I change filament I also blow down the filament path as well use the red straw attachment on the dust-off can

Ah...yes. The original one giving me trouble was the one I had the filament sensor turned on. I had just turned on the sensor on the other two and then they started giving trouble too. Thanks for the great answer!
